Proposition of a new subgenus of the genus Trichorondonia Breuning, 1965 (Cerambycidae: Lamiinae: Acanthocinini)

Abstract : The paper presents a taxonomic evaluation on subgeneric arrangement of the genus Trichorondonia Breuning. As a result, Trichorondonia (Prominensipenna) subgen. nov. is described and presented with some species that were previously placed to the genus Trichorondonia Breuning and thereby to the nominate subgenus Trichorondonia (s.str.) Breuning.
