Bioecological features of the distribution of tenia pathogens in small ruminants in the northeastern foothills of the Lesser Caucasus

Abstract : The density of animals on the territory, the distribution of intermediate hosts, the relationship of animals with intermediate hosts, the influence of abiotic factors at the stage of helminth development are important in the distribution of the main helminthic pathogens. In studying the bioecological features of the spread of tenidiosis in small horned domestic animals in the north-eastern foothills of the Lesser Caucasus, it was established that the decisive role is played by the main and intermediate hosts. The main causative agents of teniidiasis found in small horned animals (E. granulosus, T. hydatigena, T. ovis, M. multiceps) are of epidemiological and epidemiological significance, infecting domestic animals and humans İnfection of small-horned animals with the larval stage of Taenia hydatigena species is 55.7%, the total number of cysticercs is 1654, and the intensity is 4-9 individuals. Infection of small-horned animals with the larval stage of Taenia ovis is 47.2%, the total number of cysticercs is 1075, and the intensity is 3-6 individuals. Echinococcus cyst infection of small-horned animals is 26.7%, the number of cysts is 94125, and the intensity is 4-5741 heads. The infection of small-horned animals with senurosis was 25.1%, with a total of 873, and the intensity was 2-3 individuals. Therefore, the study of bioecological features of the prevalence of tenidiosis and echinococcosis is relevant for modernity, has a scientific novelty and practical value. Therefore, since it is important to discover the taeniid fauna of small-horned animals, to determine the bioecological features of the spread of taeniidiosis and echinococcosis agents, it is considered appropriate by us to conduct research in this direction. When studying the bioecological features of the spread of causative agents of tenidiosis and echinococcosis, it was found that intermediate and main hosts play a key role in the formation of bioecological characteristics, combining favorable environmental conditions. Without one of these factors, the chain of development of tenidi and echinococcosis is interrupted and infection does not occur. Therefore, it is necessary to develop preventive and control measures in the direction of breaking the circuit.
