Agapanthia lazuli sp. nov., description of a new species from Greece–The Island Corfu (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae)

Abstract : A new species, Agapanthia lazuli sp. nov., is described from the Greek island Corfu. For the time being, the species is endemic to the island Corfu. Agapanthia lazuli sp. nov. was compared with taxa known from Greece and Turkey, i.e. with Agapanthia intermedia (Ganglbauer, 1884), Agapanthia violacea (Fabricius, 1775), Agapanthia osmanlis (Reiche & Saulcy, 1858), Agapanthia izzilloi (Rapuzzi,Sama & Kotán, 2013), Agapanthia lais (Reiche & Saulcy, 1858), Agapanthia ozdikmeni (Rapuzzi & Sama, 2012) and Agapanthia pesarinii (Rapuzzi, Sama & Kairouz, 2010).
